Hi Pam &
Heather -

Hi - Thought you might like to see our darlings Abby and Kaylee!! Santa
wanted to keep you know who!!
Hi
Pam.....Just a quick note to let you & Sherry know that Bella is doing GREAT!!!
she's just moved in & taken over and hasn't seemed to be stressed in any way.
I've been working afternoons at the College Daycare so I just spend my mornings
& evenings playing with her and then she has several hours in the aft. to nap.
She sleeps in her crate next to my bed & as long as I'm right there she's very
content & sleeps all night. She follows me everywhere & is my constant
companion - just what I wanted : ) She knows what we're going outside for &
usually gets right down to business....unless a noise from the street or the
park scares her ..then she makes a beeline for the deck & patio door : )
Since I'm gone from 12:30 - 4:30 in the aft's I put her in an exercise pen w.
piddle pads & she knows how to use them - so things are working out well!
She's such a sweet thing & I'm blessed to have her! Thanks to both you &
Sherry for this little girl : )
Merry Christmas to you both!!!!
hugs....Becki
Monday we
brought Finnegan O'Farrell home He is sleeping and playing well.
Hello
Sherry, Pam and HeatherI just wanted to thank you all for letting us adopt Puppies No. 882 - Ricky and 638 - Lucy
It was such an enjoyable experience yesterday getting to know all the pups and being to talk with Heather and MIke. I would like to thank Sherry for taking time to visit with both Ben and I on the phone. I feel so comfortable knowing that if we need anything or have any questions we can call you guys. You don't know how comforting that makes us feel.
So far we have left Ricky's name as you guys named him and we have named the second Lucy. Everyone we have told about the puppies think these names are great and they are so adorable.
I have attached pictures of their first night at their new home.
They are doing wonderful and slept all night with no peeps and no accidents.
Potty training is going fine they have been outside and we have put piddle pads down just in case at the doors and neither one has missed them yet.
We have 3 areas in the house set up for them - 1 downstairs in the family room as play area by the back door - 1 upstairs in the laundry room as their quite area - 1 in our bedroom is a kennel just big enough for the 2 of them for night time.
Please don't hesitate to call us to check up on the pups. We would love to talk to everyone and we will keep you posted on their new lives with the Apple's.
Thanks again for letting have the experience and adopting the puppies.

Abby is no w six
months old and we just can't tell you how much fun she is and what a joy to
be around. Even Kaylee just loves this little bit and plays like she is a
puppy again. Abby doesn't bark (thank goodness), but when she wants to play
she is heard by everyone until someone takes the ball (or whatever) and
plays. Kaylee and Abby just tumble, run and have a good old time. Thank you
Pam for having just the right puppy for us. What a darling; Joe and I both
immensely love our little girl!!!!! JUDY HICKERSON, Owner Broker The Hickerson Group - Metro Brokers, judy.hickerson@comcast.net

Ghillie just celebrated her first birthday. Although she was given dog
bakery treats ro cekebrate with her sisters, she much prefers lettuce (her
favorite snack). We love her and she is a fun addition to our household. She
keeps up with her bigger sisters, the Portuguese Water Dog and the Standard
Poodles. She thinks she is tough and VERY BIG!!!! Attached is a photo of her

Hi
Pam,
From
Pam: Check out those eyelashes!!!
Dear Pam and Sherry,
I wanted to take a minute to express our sincere gratitude! As you know we had lost one of our dogs and our remaining dog became very depressed. We had many emotions because we did not want to “replace” our recently departed Chico so soon. As time went on our remaining dog, Yoshi continued to be depressed and would not eat. As we could see his depression was not going to get better be began our search. Our goal was to find a breeder that placed extra effort on socialization and health. Having a depressed 8 year old dog and a 2 year old daughter we had to find the perfect addition to the family! After searching internet, local breeders, and out of town breeders, we finally found Fuzzy Pups! During our initial visit to your facility I could tell how much you cared about what you were doing! Then I saw a Beautiful friendly Shih Tzu that was going home with its new owners. Being a Shih Tzu owner for many years I was extremely impressed with everything I saw. In particular you could tell how healthy and distinguished your Shih Tzu’s were! Although you did not have more pups at the time of my visit shortly after we were able to visit and find our new boy! We fell in love immediately! “Teek” could not be better! He is the smartest dog we have ever owned! It really is amazing to see how different a dog is when they are properly bread! My daughter loves “her” new puppy and most importantly our 8 year old Shih Tzu was back to normal the minute Teek showed up! It was truly an emotional moment when Yoshi’s tail started to wag for the first time sense he lost his little brother! Although Teek can never replace Chico he has become part of the family and we could never see ourselves with out him! We thank you two for having the passion for what you do! It translates over to your pups and it makes for wonderful, healthy, loving companions for a lifetime! Hopefully this email will help others in our position make the decision to add to their family! Almost forgot attached are a couple pictures of Teek.
With sincere appreciation,
Robert,
Melissa, Melania, Yoshi, and Teek Valdez.

Hi Pam!
I wanted to take just a moment to send you an email and a couple
pictures of our little guy, Champ (fka "Gremlin"). He has been the
best puppy anyone could ever ask for! Everyone that he meets falls
instantly in love with him! He snuggles with me as much as possible,
sleeps through the night (I actually have to wake him up to go potty
in the morning!), hasn't had ANY accidents in the house and just loves
us with every ounce of his being. He loves all of his toys and
absolutely loves playing fetch with his daddy every night! He goes on
many walks every day, and has made tons of friends around the
neighborhood! He goes everywhere with us -- and is super-excited
about his first trip on an airplane in November to go visit his
Grandma, Uncle, Aunt and Cousin in Texas!
Thank you again for raising the perfect puppy for us for the first few
months of his life!! We can't even imagine our lives without him
now!!!

Hi Pam,
Dear Friends,
I hope I may call you friends because you certainly have helped make me a very contented customer. Mid-July I was introduced to a darling male puppy who I purchased and named Ming Tai'. To say he is and has been a charmer is mild. He's a true pet and companion - well trained and, I think, enjoying his home with me. His day satrs early and ends the same but we're a happy couple of "campers" and he seems very pleased. He now has a friend who visits almost daily and altho the friend is now 2 years, they romp like it is going out of style - rest a bit and begin again for the total of about 45 minutes. I believe he truly has found his 'nitche' in life and I want to thank you, so much, for breeding him and I was able to find my friend.
Most Sincerely,
Mary Elizabeth J - GWV, CO 80111-3712
Hello,
We wanted to send a family photograph to you, which includes our newest addition, Durango (fka Wally). We just love having him in our family - he plays with our other two dogs Parker and Madison. He loves to follow us around and we have to be careful when walking because he's just a bit faster than us and gets caught up in our feet. He also loves to fetch.Thank you so much, contact us anytime. The Eckstadt Family rocketegg@comcast.net
Hi Pam
I
finally got around to taking more pictures of our precious Conan. The one of
him in the suitcase is pretty funny to us. I think he got sick of not quite
reaching the socks in there so he dove right in. He's such a smart little guy
too. He already knows the names of his toys. When Marshal tells him to bring
his giraffe he brings it. Same goes for squeaky and pugsly. We love
him so very much. When we get home we ask him to give us 10 and he gets up on
his hind legs and paws the air. He even smiles. I've kept all of his baby
teeth. Thank you so very much for him. He has brightened every day.
Love,
Kirsten

Pam, Sherry and Heather,
I just wanted to let you know that our new shih tzu puppy is doing great. As you know this is our second shih tzu from you and we just love your dogs! They have the best temperament, they are very smart, and not to mention how cute they are!! Potty training is going well, Gracie either goes on her potty pad in her play yard or outside every time and she did this only after a few days of having her…pretty awesome! Thanks again for giving us another great addition to our house.

P.S. I will try to get a picture of all 3 dogs together and give it to you when I come in for the next grooming!
Pam,
Hi Pam,
I don't know if you'll remember me or not but I got my wonderful
little Shih Chon, Bubba (I think Sherry called her Motor Mouth), from
you Thanksgiving weekend. She's almost 1 now (7/14) and a practically
perfect little friend. If anyone had tried to tell me how much I
would love this dog, I would have told them they were crazy. I
absolutely adore her.
Thanks,
Stephanie

Ok, so it has taken
these humans soooo long to get this picture to you. I am doing just great.
Dont' I look like my new friend Buddy. We wrestle every morning, he lets me
pull his ears, we share our food bowls. I have lots of toys and chews that keep
me happy. The best thing it doesn't snow here. It does rain but it is so much
fun to run and play in the rain. We go for walks and rides in the car. Tell
eveyone hello and that I am doing fine. Love and Thanks for finding a good
family for me. Elwood

haircutDear Pam and Sherry and Heather:
Hi Pam,
Thank you, Thank you for giving us the chance to be parents to Elwood. He is
just what you said and more. He is smart, has taken to being on a collar
and lead, is working on his potty learning (85%), loves to go on walks, loves
to be takin in the bed in the mornings to be loved and go back to sleep, he is
on the Eagle Pack dry food but loves the vegetables we add and not much but a
little can food, and he goes to the Hardware and Pet store. Buddy the Gummpy
Old Man (we call him) is playing like a pup with him and chasing each other all
around the house. Keeps himself entertained with his squeaky toys and chews.
I felt so sorry for him for the 1st coupleweeks as he just didn't understand
what was going on but he really put his heart into it and gave his best. We
have been real patent with him and he just keeping giving his all.....Can you
tell that we just love him.
He went to the groomers yesterday with Buddy and she said he did real well. Cut
him a bit shorter then I wanted by it will grow back and we can tell her what to
let grow longer. JD said he really didn't want another dog so soon after
Reggie but he says he is staying because he is soooo nice.
We are taking him to Dr. Hess on June 2 so Elwood can win him over also,
Take care and just know he is well taken care of and loved soooooo very much.

Pam, sorry to
take so long today to let you know Elwood did just great on the plane. He was
scared at the takeoff and landing but slept through the rest of it. We did not
get home untill 9pm with JD and several neighbors were waiting for him to
arrive. We did not just take him in the house, we introduced him to our Shih
Tzu, Buddy out front. Little Elwood finally peed and pooped on the drive way.
He held himself from 4pm until then. Like you said he is just the sweetest
little guy and JD has been hovering over him since we got out of the car. We
LOVE him. I wil get you pictures of Elwood, Buddy and JD on their morning walk
and then Elwood and me resting from the stress of our trip. He has found that
under our bed and the futon are great places for safety that he can watch
everything from. Right now he just went in his crate with the door open to take
a nap.
He will be fine and it was well worth the place trip to get him. You know that
he will loved and taken care of as well as Reggie was.
Thank you so very much and I will keep you posted with emails and pictures.
Janie cofred3@aol.com
He was so funny last night. I keep his crate with us where we watch TV and
at 9pm he went to bed in his crate. What a great baby. JD finally has stopped
hovering over him and he is starting to go to him. They went for their walk
this as and he was so interested in his collar that jingled. Oh, do I have to
send in the transfer you sent for the name change? Have a great day. Another of
Pam's match made in heaven. Janie
Pam:
Just wanted to let you know that "Luke" - now "Marley" - is doing terrific. He was very very shy the first night home. He pretty much just sat wherever you put him like a stuffed puppy. Not true anymore! He loves to rip around the yard at top speed and wags his tail furiously at us. He's getting along great with our Golden, Scout, and the cat, Strider. He's basically potty trained already -asking to go out and going in the same place in the yard each time. Sleeps through the night in his crate without a whimper. Had a fun play date today with "Oscar" Palazzo who is the same age, although Marley is a bit bigger. We couldn't have asked for a sweeter puppy.
Thanks so much,
Karen Reutzel, Denver
Hello,
I just thought I'd let you know how well my new Shih tsu is! Her full name is
Bumbles Betty Davis (Betty Davis for her huge lashes). She is doing super with
the house training. When we got her home she was quiet for the first day or two
then started to open up around our other animals and us. It took about a week
for her to be happy and content. She loves the snow! The first time she went
out on our deck she bounced like a rabbit and put her face in the snow. I sent
a pic showing her with her favorite squeeky rubber chicken. I will send updates
periodically. By the way I just want others to know she was 5 months old when we
picke dher up so she was kind of an older puppy but it didn't matter. She is a
wonderful playful puppy! Ohh I forgot to let you know she had her well check a
couple days ago and is perfectly healthy. Talk again soon

I adopted an older Shih Tzu from you last May. We absolutely love her and my husband keeps bugging me for another one just like her. She still rolls over on her back when she sees you. She got groomed today and the groomer says she was perfect. She is definitely loved and spoiled in our house. Her mother is Sandra Dee.
--we
are thrilled with both doggies, it's just a bit crowded in Rose's 450 sq. ft.
apartment! Both of them have super sweet temperaments, very affectionate and not
a mean bone in their bodies. Just a little genetic info here: Toto is notably
intelligent and clever (was he offspring of Marnie and Teddy?), HoneyBelle . . .
not as much--it's actually cute, she'll get distracted while walking and bump
into street posts.

Hello,
My name is Cara and... I have been looking at your website for a few days and I really like what I see. You seem to care a lot about your dogs and puppies. On top of that, you are the most reasonably priced breeder I have seen so far without sacrificing what appear to be your high standards. I would love to visit when we arrive in Colorado (by appointment of course) and see your shih chons or any mixes you may at that time. carandan@hotmail.com 02/24/08
Hi Pam! I am
finally sending a couple pictures of Daisy. She is such a sweet dog—we couldn’t
be happierJ
The kids love her almost as much as we do! One is with the kiddos on
Valentine’s Day and one was just taken yesterday after we had her first little
“haircut”. Thanks for breeding such a great pet for our family
—we truly love her.
Take care

I wanted to send this picture to
you because it is so sweet of the
girls. Pepper and Sunny just woke up from a nap and it is one of the
rare times they weren't moving. I'll send you a couple of other
pictures that show their true personalities after this but they have to
be shrunk to fit in an email.
Pepper is now 8 months and
close to 9 pounds. She is shy around people
at first but is very devoted to her big sister Sunshine (also a 9
pounder). The groomer calls them the silliest little girls in town.
They squeal at the sight of each other and at this point hate to enter
or leave a room without their sister.
Sunshine is living up to her name. She is joyful, full of energy, and
always ready to give kisses and make a friend. She still bullies Pepper
to make sure her little sister knows who is in charge but Pepper holds
her own in their on-going all star wrestling matches and has now taken
to initiating pouncing lessons. I think they have taken too many
lessons from the cats.
The next 2 emails show their real personalities:

Take care!

Pam,
What Snow?

To refresh your memory, my husband Leon met you and your husband in a parking lot in Denver while he was there on a business trip. We are from Red Lodge, MT. Our puppy is absolutely adorable and really, really SPOILED! It is hard to believe that she is already 9 months old! Bailey is the first small dog that we have ever owned and we were a little worried about some of the little dog horror stories we had heard, but Bailey has proved everyone wrong. She potty trained fairly easy and she doesn’t hardly bark at all (when she does, I think she scares herself a little). She gets along really well with our 8 year old black lab, Friday. She sits, lays down and can now roll over. I could go on and on about how smart she is, but my husband says that everyone says that about their dog… but in my case it’s true (ha, ha)! We are fortunate that we own our own businesses and she as well as Friday come to work with us everyday… everyone can’t believe how cute she is. Enclosed are some recent pictures of her. As you can see, she loves to play in the snow head first. She is such a show off. We are also interested in possibly getting another playmate for Bailey so we try and check your website out frequently. Do you have any litters coming up? If so, please keep us posted. Thanks again for raising such great puppies!

Pam – . Our little girl is unbelievable – super sweet and easy, easy to potty train… better than we ever dreamed of. I’ll send some pictures via email of her as well.
Thanks,

Pam: I can't believe it is almost 2 weeks and I still haven't written you. Time flies when you are busy taking care of a puppy. Ghillie is doing great! She is so cute and so much fun to have around. The other dogs are accepting her and trying to figure out why this little thing keeps going after their ankles. She is growing and has even had her first vet visit. She checked out perfectly. She has a wonderful temperament and is already working on being potty trained. She gets the idea sort of. She knows when she goes outside and I say "Good girl" she will get a treat. But there are times she wonders why in the world she would even think of going outside. She even started to come back in one day and turned around to go back outside and go. I knew that it had really connected that time! So, I am sure we will be in for great success before we know it. I do have to admit it is much easier to potty trai n a puppy when the weather is nice. Standing outside in the freeezing cold does not allow for much patience. All is well and she is a great fit. We love her, Leigh 01/25/08
Hey y'all,
We have been so busy with the holidays and Mags that I can not believe
she is already 6 months old! We all love her very much and she seems so
happy here. She is so curious about everything and I guess we should
have named her Nosy Rosy because she stops and watches everything going
on in the neighborhood. She is doing very well with her house training
and occasionally has an accident if she gets excited or if it has been
raining for a long time. Otherwise she will go to the door to let me
know it is potty time. I hope to start her obedience training at the
end of this month, weather permitting.
Mags loves to go on walks in the neighborhood and has to stop at the
other dog homes in hopes that they are able to play. Her best buddy is
a 2 year old yellow lab "Ella" who lives next door so they visit through
the fence a lot.
Mags was spayed this week and is recovering just fine. Her puppy
canines(?) were removed at the same time. The vet and the groomer just
love her and comment about how well she does when she is with them. So
thanks again for this little blessing. She is a hit every where she goes!
Thanks,
Julie Childress 01/10/08
Don't forget to look at the pics!

Tammy, we bathe the puppies whenever they are dirty - sometimes daily. As long as you use a gentle shampoo - we like the Crazy Dog brand or Johnson Baby Shampoo will work, you will be fine.
Pam and Heather,
Just wanted to let you know how well "BOO" is doing! He has slept all night
every night in his crate and NO messes in the crate! He already knows to go to
the door when he has to do business - he is VERY smart! He didn't like those
awful winds on Saturday, but we didn't either!! He is eating really well (I add
a little pumpkin like you said). And yes, we LOVE him sooooo much!!! He
is such a cutie.
Sincerely,
Jan and Dick Wolf, Monument, Colorado 1/07/08
Shanti & Meesha
HI Pam,
Well, we’re making some progress with the doggies. Shanti is playing with Meesha sometimes, sometimes she asserts herself, and other times she relents. It’s strange. I didn’t realize that the worst combination of two dogs in the house are two females (I didn’t do my research, or I would have gotten a male puppy instead). Anyway, hopefully they won’t kill each other as Meesha gets older (she is truly an unafraid alpha girl). I didn’t realize that since she’s so little her kidneys aren’t fully developed yet (according to the vet), which is why she has to pee during the day quite frequently (more than Shanti ever did)…live and learn! I’m attaching pics of them together, so you can see they really do harmonize sometimes! We’ll keep you posted.
Thank you,
Kelly Russell

I didn’t realize that since she’s so little her kidneys aren’t fully developed yet (according to the vet), which is why she has to pee during the day quite frequently actually we address that in our housebreaking tips in your puppy kit - and should also be on the web. Until she is 16 weeks of age, don't expect her to sleep during the night - should have been same with Shanti, unless she was older when adopted. It really doesn't matter size of dog, so much as age. Maturity not size determines when the kidneys and other organs mature enough (more than Shanti ever did)…live and learn! I’m attaching pics of them together, so you can see they really do harmonize sometimes! We’ll keep you posted. thanks for the photos and the update. I am sure in time the two will be inseparatable (sp) as it's in the nature of the breed(s) to want friends --- Shanti just must have gotten her nose out of joint thinking she was being replaced. Do keep us posted
