ABOUT US...

Once Upon A Time...a nice family adopted a Bichon Frise puppy.  They loved their puppy so much, they wanted to give puppies to other friends and family.  Therefore, they went to their breeder and asked if they could create puppies with their now, "perfect" adult Bichon, so everyone could have a perfect puppy to love.  Once they had a litter of puppies of their own, they were hooked! 

The Knight family adopted Belle, our "perfect" Bichon Frise, in 1991.  (Sadly we lost her to the Rainbow Bridge on 09/19/07 - at age 17 years 4 months and 15 days).  As time went on, our family continued to place puppies of our own, and also placed puppies for our now best friend and partner, Sherry Beebe.  Eventually a fun hobby turned in to the dream of a new business.   In 1999, we moved to a 36 acre ranch in Parker, Colorado and opened the  Bichon Frise Get Away   and the Bichon Frise Rescue Ranch, inc.  With an incredible following of loyal Bichon-lovers, the Bichon Frise Get Away has prospered and expanded from being an exclusive resort for Bichons, to a resort for other small toy breeds.  This led to the next logical step, that of placing other toy breed puppies with loving families.

BB's Canine Social Club, specializes in quality puppies.  Health, socialization and breed standards are all strictly focused upon.  With over 25 years of breeding experience, Sherry is a force to be reckoned with.  Her quality of experience and quantity of knowledge are an asset to make any business proud.   Her puppy "lines" go back several generations, and Sherry will gladly talk about who each puppies parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, are; as well as the personality quirks that go with those lines.  Many of those generations still reside, in retirement, with her. 

Originally interested in showing as well as breeding, Sherry focused on her Shih Tzu and to this day our Shih Tzu are some of the most gorgeous of dogs one will ever have the pleasure of meeting.  The genetics of our Shih Tzu originate from the top breeding Shih Tzu ever bred and  sparkles with several famous champions! Our Shih Tzu  have proven to be not only beautiful, but personable & smart (a remarkable thing for  Shih Tzu) and have enjoyed long and healthy lives. 

Since show-dogs must be maintained in show coat year round, they are not allowed the privilege of  playing and romping as our other dogs.  We have chosen to leave the show ring in order to allow all of our pets a more fun and less restrictive lifestyle.  However, one of our daddy dog/stud muffins is a "Best in Show" champion.   The rest are either champions or champion sired assuring quality standards in our lines. 

"FUZZYPUPS!" came about after it was determined our long-term friendship, mutual goals, future plans, and puppy parents and puppies would benefit from such arrangement.  We hope you will enjoy your relationship with us and look forward to having you join our family.
